Delta Star to Purchase Alstom Transformer Factory in Montreal, Canada (click to read more)

Lynchburg, Va.-based transformer and mobile substation manufacturer Delta Star, Inc. today announced an agreement to purchase the Alstom transformer factory in Saint-Jean-Sur-Richelieu near Montreal in Quebec, Canada.

The Alstom plant is Canada’s most modern transformer factory and is capable of manufacturing medium power transformers up to 315 kV and up to 166 MVA.
