More than a half-century ago, ZTR was one of the first companies to produce transformers rated for applications of 500 kV and higher.Today, we’re the only manufacturer in the world producing transformers rated for 1150 kV.

But the number that best describes our engineering capabilities is 157,000. That’sthe number of Delta Star and ZTR transformer units that are now operating reliably in 82 countries worldwide— in climatic and seismic conditions ranging from the coldest trans-polar regions to sweltering African deserts.

We’ve achieved these results by constantly applying the latest innovations in production technology, quality assurance, and system integration.
