Delta Star Names New Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

(LYNCHBURG, Va., July 1, 2022) – Delta Star announced that as it continues to build on its industry-leading designs, high-performance components, and quality engineering, Carlos Bittner has joined the company’s executive leadership team as Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. In this new role, Bittner will be responsible for leading all Delta Star sales and marketing initiatives.

Bittner brings more than 22 years of experience in the power industry and extensive experience with a premium manufacturer of On-Load Tap Changer (OLTC) and other power components. He has negotiated and managed service and supply contracts for some of the largest utilities in the United States.

“Carlos is a well-respected entity within Delta Star and our industry,” said Jason Greene, DSI’s president and chief executive officer. “He has many years of experience at selling products and services to Original Equipment Manufacturers like us as well as directly to utility customers.” Handling quotes, negotiations for products and services, and having been trained in power systems, Bittner’s experience is of great value to DSI’s internal stakeholders and external customers. “I am confident he will continue to grow upon our great market successes,” Greene said.

In Bittner’s distinguished career, a relationship was formed with DSI in the early 2000s through multiple project collaborations, leading to him visiting both of DSI’s U.S. manufacturing facilities.
