(Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, — Sept. 15, 2025) — Delta Star, Inc., a leading manufacturer of power transformers and mobile substations, proudly celebrated the 10-Year anniversary of its Canadian manufacturing facility, Delta Star North (DSN). This milestone event honored a decade of growth, innovation, and service to the energy needs of not only Canada, but across North America.
Established in 2015, Delta Star North was created to expand Delta Star’s presence in the Canadian market and reinforce its commitment to providing high-performance, reliable power solutions across North America. Located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec, DSN has grown into a vital hub for transformer engineering, assembly, and testing.

“One of the things I love most about this team is that we don’t just clock in and clock out,” said Jason Greene, Delta Star’s president & chief executive officer. “We take ownership. We hold ourselves to a high standard. We know the work we do matters. What leaves this facility doesn’t just meet a spec sheet—it powers schools, hospitals, neighborhoods, and communities. That’s the role we play at Delta Star and that’s something to be proud of!”
A celebration was held and welcomed employees, their families and community partners to the Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu manufacturing site. Guests were able to enjoy food and outdoor activities before being treated to guided tours showcasing DSN’s capabilities and improvements over the past decade, including expanded testing bays, upgraded tooling systems, and a more integrated assembly workflow designed to increase speed and quality.

Lucie Perret, general manager of Delta Star North, added: “When we opened in 2015, our goal was to be more than just a branch of Delta Star, we wanted to be a strategic extension of the mission. The last ten years have proven that we are. Our people are passionate, our processes are strong, and our commitment to powering communities across North America is only growing stronger.”
Over the past decade, Delta Star North has supported some of the most critical utility projects across Canada, delivering power transformers in record time and partnering with regional utilities to address evolving grid needs. The anniversary celebration also served as a reminder of the company’s commitment to workforce development, technical excellence, and binational collaboration between U.S. and Canadian operations.
