(Lynchburg, VA — June 11, 2025) — Delta Star, Inc., an industry-leading manufacturer of power transformers and mobile substations, officially celebrated the opening of its newest manufacturing facility, Delta Iron Works (DIW). The event marked a major milestone in the company’s ongoing mission to enhance production capabilities and support growing energy demands across North America.
Located on Delta Star’s Lynchburg campus, the 80,000 sq. ft. facility will serve as a state-of-the-art hub for steel fabrication, designed to increase output, improve supply chain efficiency, and continue Delta Star’s legacy of delivering high-performance, reliable power solutions ensuring Power At All Times.

“Today, we cut the ribbon on our new metal fabrication business unit, Delta Iron Works,” said Jason Greene, Delta Star’s president & chief executive officer. “In truth, we are opening much more than a new building. We’re opening new doors—doors to opportunity, to empowerment, to pride in craftsmanship, and to a future shaped by the dedication and ingenuity of the Delta Star family.”
The event welcomed over 700 guests spanning across employees, representatives, customers, suppliers, government officials, and community members. Following the ceremony, guests received a guided tour of the new facility, showcasing its advanced fabrication technology, upgraded workflow systems, and dedicated areas for innovation and collaboration.

The launch of DIW reinforces the commitment to strengthen domestic manufacturing while also providing opportunities for local workforce development.
